train reports hitting something at Oak Road crossing west of LaPaz yesterday but authorities can't find vehicle or victim; they say it could be a recreational vehicle such as a dirt bike, ATV, or motorcycle; Standoff--two-hour standoff near Martin's Bakery on McKinley in Mishawaka; man was reported holding a gun to his head; man finally was taken into custody and brought to the hospital.
